This Wonder Twisted Wire Snaffle is a very versatile gag shank that works well on most horses. It can be used with a martingale or double rein. The sliding mouthpiece moves forward to engage poll pressure which allows for more lateral flexion and shoulder elevation. The twisted wire mouthpiece adds bar pressure to help sharpen the focus of a finished horse. This bit is made from sweet iron to help keep your horses mouth soft and moist. Please note that this bit will rust when exposed to moisture, which creates a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promotes salivation.
