This is a moderately light bit that works great on horses with a good mouth. The solid cheek pieces help with stability and the medium-severe mouth offers a good amount of tongue relief. The sweet iron mouthpiece is intended to rust, causing salivation and therefore makes a more supple feeling mouth.
